I would like to know what Mosi is there for and I know what warugaki (brat) means. I am interested in learning more about Japanese and thought I would comment.

It means he can't read カタカナ so he can't buy Japanese 3DS games and is pissed because Gateway won't release their update.

I have a Gateway (with a 4.5 XL), but honestly, Sky3DS has better support if you want to be up to date on the latest firmware without emuNAND and you JUST want to play ROMS (which I bet is around 98-something % of the people here).
not in this thread i wouldnt imagine

I am on island and power does got out in fact twice a day, by govt. order they fighting with power company over 1 billion dollars that are overdue.

From 1pm to 6pm (its 12:16pm) there is no power, and again from 3am to 8am there is another 5 hour blackout.

And let me guess, you use dial-up internet that only works from 6 pm to midnight, right?

Even if 98% of people here "just" want to play ROMS, a lot of those people really expect those ROMs to be of ALL regions, not just the one of our console. Which is why we still consider Gateway as "having the best support". That's Sky3DS's biggest shortcoming.

I own both too. Sky is great, but the region lock is what kills it for me. I have two Japanese N3DS'. While playing games in Japanese is a great learning experience, I miss out on playing US games with friends and family.

Etheboss: Not exactly... there is no permissions system, and a couple of other technicalities, like non-journal-based file table, which leaves it more prone to some types of corruption compared to NTFS.
Well, i did say it's like NTFS, but lets change it into FAT32 ++ , it has defenitely has more than 1 advantage over FAT32.

But that does not hold up the release, as I got a giant ups with 4 batteries and laptop and tablet and mobile and can work thru any blackout, plus I am just a news poster and forum admin, nothing more, the rest of GW team does everything else, and that is out of my hands or control, I can't forced them to push the big red launch button ontime or anything else like that, only guess what is happening and possible delays and i know just a tiny bit more in regard to current status but not much more then you.

If it's not too too personal, where is this happening? I wanna read more.

That is true. Sky3DS is far from perfect, but it gets the job done for most people. I mean, sure region-free is awesome, but how many of you really are going to play JP games? Also, parents who buy it for their kids don't really care about that.

It would be nice if they added that though.

Nope, we got Orange here and full 4G internet, most of time I get close to 100meg speeds, and from midnight to 7am it is totally unlimited, no caps, limits, can reach even faster speeds, but costly more then my food and rent, but we getting off-topic now.
