i think the ambassador n3DS consoles would be peoples best chance of getting a 9.2 or lower US n3DS as they where probably from the very first batch made.....would still be a gamble though

I wouldn't risk it, if you want a cool console better buy a jap sp edition or get a regular aussie with face plates or the xl

Do you have your account setup to allow them to email you promotions? I had missed out on the Smash Bros demo promotion due to my account being setup not to receive promotions from them. Others had this issue too.

Although these new consoles in the Americas and Europe will definitely come with 9.3+ firmware, I find it strange that it will be launching and Sky3DS will still be usable. Don't think we've had a 3DS model launch with 3DS flashcards being usable on the firmware until now.

yeah i know, i already got a AUS n3DS....but EU region so it was fine for me, but i would understand if/why people would want a US n3DS if they could get hold of a 9.2 or lower.....especially if they want to play their legit games while we put up with the eternal gateway wait
