It's probably been asked a thousand times, but can the 3DS handle 64GB MicroSD/SD just fine? I heard 128GB+ take some special effort and 64 should be just fine for me needs. Figured I'd upgrade my capacities for when the update eventually is released.

they get stock in large quantity's, last time i asked they said their purchasers were trying to secure more stock.. i assume from Nintendo... that's why im interested in the FW from the new batch they get in.

There is no special effort involved, just format the card FAT32 and you're fine.

They said before the 5th, before the 8th and before the 18th.

All of which are pretty unlikely...

Expect closer to February release.

It is so fun how Gateway is trolling us
They said that update would be out in a few days 3 weeks ago... Then they sent emails saying it would be out around Christmas, then around new years, then before 5 January failing on anything they said
On December 18th they announced officially on their site this "our release is now just around the corner" 3 weeks later nothing.. I wonder how big is that corner
If I didn't buy a gateway 3ds already I would honestly not even bother with them after all this hustle...
This is not how business works... They should have given a date from the start.. Lets say they believed that they would have the update ready around February.. They should have said to us around March so everybody knew what they were buying and what to expect and later when they would release earlier everybody would be happy and amazed...
Instead from what I understand they knew that they would not have the update ready before February-March but they hoax around that the update is just a few days away hyping everyone and locking them into buying a gateway and playing the F5 game for weeks. I am pretty sure at this point that they still don't know when the update will be ready and that they are still hoaxing that the update is just a few days away by sending mails like 2-3days ets.... I saw mails on 3 January saying in 2-3 days the update would be out but yet again it is January 6 and still nothing... They stopped also answering mails... I have sent them 2 mails since last week and got 0 answers.
That is my personal opinion. Rest of hype fanboys can preach all day how Gateway always delivers etc but I don't care... Their way of doing business is hilarious...

I've never heard of such a thing, there are people using 128gb with hundreds of cia's installed just fine. There's no need to worry lol?

Someone should start a gateway treatment center. Believe me they will be receiving customers very soon (if gateway does not release).
