well lets me honest they are losing customers because sky3ds has been out for a while now and people get sick of waiting so they go for the alternative product,
i myself got sick of waiting and bought a sky3ds i also own a gateway and i held off from buying a sky3ds but dam it's taking way to long

If you already bought their product they didn't lose a customer then.
But people who don't own either yet will as it is now most likely go for Sky3DS because we have not even the slighest idea anymore when they're gonna release it.
Could be any day, might as well be March (Worst case scenario, I hope)

I have 2 sandisk cards and they work fine.
One is an 32gb Ultra microSD and another is 64GB Extreme PLUS micro SD (damn, dem write speed XD)

I'm really sad about this delay on the realese. I've paid something like 95 dollars (It was 250 R$) in the end of November, and I could swear that it would be out on the first days of December... Now I will go back to work and school... So sad...

Yeah, threatening this is pointless. They already have a firm grip on your balls at that point. They made their sale. Long before you even bought it, to be precise. Manufacturer sends it to the distributor, they sell to the reseller, reseller sells to you. $20 card becomes $80. So yeah... Only ones you're "getting even" with is the resellers.

Just putting it into perspective. Saying "I'm switching to Sky3DS" is like getting a divorce; You might be moving on, but ex-wife still has your money.

True but having second hand items on the market does effect new sales. The same way the used game market effects new game sales.
