Can some kind bloke get me up to speed with the status for the update? I thought it was set to release a few hours ago.

Then we need to get back on-topic about Gateway working on the new 3DS before mods start handing out bans like tickets to a [insert overrated boyband here] concert.

I actually plan on getting some sort of new 3DS the same time I order my Gateway for the first time. Hopefully by then the American console would have been released.

Let's talk about possible differences in EmuNAND between the 3DS, and the new 3DS?
Since I can assume the new 3DS has a bigger NAND data-wise, it seems as if there is a bigger potential of something going wrong.

Why would the nand need to be any bigger? Its the same 3DS firmware, running on different hardware. There wouldn't be that much difference. I'm sure Nintendo knows how to use if statements.
