From what I understand, no you shouldn't need to reinstall the exploit if you reboot. Think of it as analogous to the 4.5 exploit; you need to run an installer, but once you do it stays (until you remove it).

I've just send them an email where I am asking for future EmuNAND support

They probably don't even know if or when it can be implemented themselves. The potential is there, but again... this update lets you use the card. If they decided to release the update after they had emuNAND support? We'd be waiting until like... April or May I'm betting.

So, as I understand it, no emuNAND for now? Wow. Talk about a screwjob.
Not that they promised anything, but this is a real bummer.
But at least I'll have many games to play until they add emuNAND.

can you imagine if you can use cubic ninja to apply the exploit? :P
Gateway just release a .3dz and you copy it to your SD card and it runs a custom extdata tool?

Right? I'd rather have a working card then just the potential of a working card "soon".

If the exploit is this difficult, I can understand gateway's complaints of server issues.

Could be that when this supposed 5-person beta test took place, their payload server was messed up and didn't work correctly, which is why they needed a few more corners to round before they released the update.

They did advertise .cia installation though, didn't they...?
Are they suggesting we should install .cia on sysnand? Wow. That's messed up.

They themselves didn't endorse that a while ago.

Wow, negativity over emunand not being added from the start. You'll have plenty of games to keep you occupied. Want online play? Go legit or go 4.5 bro-ettes.

Anyway I'm aboard the hyyyyyypppeeeeee train cya later!

None of us know. I mean, installing to sysnand may very well work as long as the game isn't intended for higher firmware than what you have. Seems logical.

Emunand not added is a huge bummer for people who want to play games online like super smash bros.

I don't feel confident installing CIA files to my sysnand incase it permanently damages the system. At least with an emunand, you know its just a quick format away.

WAIT! i'm confused as hell. What the hell does Emunand do!??? Somebody clear all this for me.

So basically it's like Cubic Ninja exploit (choosing firmware/model on website to generate QR Code) but with MiiPlaza

So because they never showed Emunand, everyone just assumes it's not supported?

SonyUSA confirmed it in the other thread that no emunand yet
