The option is always available. If you can shell out $60-100 or what ever the equivalent is for a gateway and msd, why can't you buy the games?

You could do either, both have their pros and cons.

I personally prefer .cia, but that is just me

Phew! Scared myself half to death when I opened my 3DS to see it skipped to the update decline/accept prompt. Must have done something before I closed it.
(It downloaded the 9.3 update the moment it came out/an hour before I found GW's initial 9.2 announcement)

thanks for the link csos95 for the link. It was posted 5 pm EST. It is currently 11:06 pm est, on day 2 of the 48 hours.

Gah, I see the mistake I made now. I put in 2:07pm because I thought the countdown site wanted me to put in the local time I was counting down to.
I'm in UTC-8:00, which matches up with your 18 hours instead of 10.
New countdown here. I'm sure someone else has made it, but I cba to find it.

These are the requirements:

• You have Python installed and in your system PATH environment variable
• You have slot0x25KeyX.bin
• You have a 3DS that can run Launcher.dat files

ncchinfo.bin and the xorpads will be generated during the process.

You should first understand Queno's guide. All that my program does is that exact process, but more automated.

Once you have all of the prerequisites ready, you should only have to drag the .3ds file onto cagen.exe.
There are more steps than that though, cagen.exe just walks you through it faster and does lots of copying and cleanup for you.

Also keep in mind you need a 3DS that can run .dat files aka a 3DS at system version 4.1-4.5

Flashcards are fun.
But when you have to choose, always lean towards purchasing the real thing.
Why? Because, this encourages the developers who have worked very very hard getting the games to you.
And, It also helps their families to pay their bills and to eat.

I picked up both the Sky and the Gateway.
But, I also legitimately purchased every single major release and AAA title on the Eshop as well.
And, my most favorite game, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I even bought an extra digital copy of that to support Capcom.
I dont even own the system anymore that it was attached to on the Eshop!
When MH4G comes out, I will 100% buy it on my eshop account attached to my main system (3DS XL USA)

Meanwhile, I will still have my flashcards running on my imported aussie system to do any experiments and whathaveyou.
