Just go with me a minute here. What about the possibility that the delay is a manufacturing issue and not a software or server issue?

We know there will be a huge surge in orders when the update drops. We know several resellers have run out of stock at various times the past few weeks. We know if there are shortages and prices rise the resellers will profit from that not Gateway. It is in Gateways best interest to have plenty of supply on hand for the resellers. The cat and mouse game will continue and Nintendo is likely to issue an update with a week or two of the Gateway release, thus cutting off eshop access until Gateway updates emunand support yet again. If there is a shortage of supply, many may again turn to the competition instead of purchasing Gateway. Gateway is not Apple and can't just command the Chinese factories to bend over backwards for them.

I suppose it does not really matter why Gateway keeps stalling, but the reasons we keep speculating about may be something else.

Thoughts?

lol, mods aren't going to be happy. I'm probably gonna peace out till this thread gets back on topic. I don't want another ban, and their is little to no legit discussion. -__-

oh, and ryanrocks562 your forced comments and filler comments will be most likely removed when the mods do their sweep up and you'll be back to 0 posts, and maybe banned

You don't need Gateway to generate .CIA files? Is that really so? I'm not really expert on this just asking if it's true but you need gateway to decrypt the roms right ? Also one of the requirements in that tutorial goes like this
Code:
"First off, these are the requirements:

Using a 3DS that is FW 4.1-4.5 (also known as FW 4.X)

I recommend that these users get a Gateway 3DS."

Please enlighten me.

I think it's the opposite for an optimal sales. you want higher demand then supply. look at the OUYA, they had a saturated market from day 1, and died instantly. When the Wii started selling, Nintendo only sent 4-5 max consoles to each store to help keep hype levels up, and keep themselves publicized. people were killing(not literally) for wii's. The demand just kept getting bigger because people start to look into it more because everyone wants it.

Higher demand than supply is actually better, especially in the case of a future proof product like GW.

Sky on the other hand needs to move as many units as possible before they're blocked.

Y'know .. That doesn't seem so far-fetched at all. Sure it's a possibility none of us have considered because we all (save a few) have a GW waiting .. It COULD be it. Maybe that's why they're waiting for the End Of The Week to launch?

you don't need gw to create cia files from eshop stuff/convert 3ds to cia -- but you do need a 4.x exploitable 3ds. and naturally for the new eshop stuff you need eshop access = you need GW

Half the IP's I use on here are blacklisted, pisses me off. Anyway sooner is sooner than ever now! I dont even know why I care with my 4.5 but wth. HYPPPPPPPPPE

Been here for 2 years and barely posted anything...
But you guys made me log in again. Nice... discussion going on here... :P
I managed to be here for years and only just begin posting on this thread pretty much.

On another note;
if I use a particular SD card in one 3ds, can I just put it right into another 3ds and gateway it up and have the same CIA's installed?
