It's OK TU is a title update - an eshop patch, you know those updates you need to be able to play games like Pokemon online.

Could you imagine if Nintendo released a system update today? It would totally mess up the gateway release because Im sure if the release includes emunand then they would patch it to that latest fw update before releasing.

I'm pretty sure all of the people that are waiting for the update have their WiFi-connection disabled.
For Nintendo to release a update (or a small patch) that is being downloaded automatically they would have needed to implement it on 4.5 already.

No usually system updates break emunand for the latest update. If gateway is releasing an expoit that includes emunand which we all assume they are then gateway would want to hold off until emunand supported the new firmware. This would probably delay the release of the update so they could patch their exploit to support the latest emunand firmware.
