Gaming The Worst Wii U Games

ZombiU is average as hell, if it isn't one of the worst then it's definitely mediocre. There's much better survival zombie games than this piece of crap.

Why are you comparing it to the essential list? Lists like that are built based on what people vote for. This is just your personal preference. Or can we put some -1 votes to games that'll be added to a total? :)

I had considered maintaining such a list, but I couldn't - and still can't - believe it would end well.

*sigh* How long are you going to keep it up, dude? I'm getting tired of this shit. There have been PLENTY of threads where you acted as if everyone hates zombiu, and everytime people who liked the game told you you weren't speaking in their name. You then came with the very same arguments as to why you disliked it and fans like me pointed out reasons we did like it (which you promptly forgot the next time you felt the need to tell the world how much you dislike zombiu). Just...drop it, okay? It's all right if you have a different taste. Just don't push it to others.

Agreed for sports connection. They literally gave me this game with the Wii U because nobody chooses to buy it, in my opinion anyway.

I got ZombiU for a fiver. It's pretty average but hardly terrible. The only reason people look down on it is because it doesn't set any new trends or break any barriers with the genre. It was like a test for nintendo to get a mature game on the system or something. It isn't the worst game on the system and I don't think it deserves to be a 'worst of' list. It's made well, doesn't have any glitches or bugs (That I had an experience with) and managed to finish it without problems.

There. It's an average/mediocre Zombie survival game at best and some people try to give it more credit than it's worth.

Whats so average about it though, i feel like it was a different approach at a zombie survival game (you spawn as a new character instead of the dame one) and it wasn't just a first person rip off that included zombies. it actually made me want to survive or try to turn the next corner without having a jump scare. Its not the perfect game or great games to others but it does deserve some credit as it IS a survival game.

Then why give it so much shtick? It's clearly not a terrible game, but not a notable one either. It shouldn't be on a best of or a worst of list. It's a game that shouldn't be noticed, simples.

I expected an average game and treated it as such. It was neither horrible or groundbreaking.

wiicube_2013 seems to get particularly irate about this particular game, or perhaps the genre in general; it seems unnecessary.

I've not played it. I assume the premise is okay, but absolutely ruined by poor programming, like almost every sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2? Even then, the sonic adventure games were both buggy messes as well.

It's actually playable. A lot of people make it out to be something it isn't. It's among the worst Sonic games and perhaps the worst platformer/adventure games, but you can have fun playing it. I enjoyed the game despite the poor programming and weird design choices and direction...

Sonic Boom aside, Sonic's four most recent games have had fine programming. Sonic Unleashed (albeit the frame rate issues), Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Lost World all worked fine on a technical level.

I'm not really frustrated at you in particular, but it's annoying how people hold to this 8-year outdated idea that Sonic games are buggy and broken, when that hasn't really been the case since Sonic 06. Two of the three exceptions since then were spinoffs with experimental motion controls (Secret Rings, Black Knight), and the third was a spinoff by a completely different developer (Sonic Boom). Either way though, we haven't had a single broken mainline Sonic game since Sonic 06.
