People need to calm down about it all being today, there's still plenty of time.

As far as I know, New Zealand is the most ahead in terms of time zones. It just hit 2015 there a mere 5 hours ago. Hope you realize there is 24 hours in a day. Here in the US for me its 9:31 AM.

Just chill and if it's not out by Jan 2nd in New Zealand, that's how it is.

I have it on good authority Gateway is Nigerian. The cousin of a Nigerian Prince that emails me frequently says they are having problems with payment processing system of their hosting service and if we wire some money they can release within the hour.

Gateway has no need to release the update on the first day of the new year to do the hype, they know they can release it whenever they want, the hype will still be there.
That's why they won't release it today or tonight.
