Since some of us have bought a different console than our home regions.. Then CIAs aren't so useless.

does that apply to eshop games too?
Like if I installed a US eshop game on my pal new3DS would it work?
I was under the impression the .cia's themselves weren't region locked but the game updates just needed to match up with the right region because of the region specific programming needed.

I'm installing most via cia, and a lot will be direct rip from my carts so it's not a problem for me, but it's a problem for you

You can play game .cia files, you just gotta update manually iirc. Or you can play straight from the GW cart

There are no problems. I have Shantae Pirate's Curse installed as a channel on my Strayan 3DS. I converted the USA rom --> .cia and installed it - no issues.

There are no region issues with .cia, don't worry.

Yes like the Inazuma Eleven games, and some dumps are easier to find PAL than USA
