the new 3ds lets you keep the 3D on, i personally always used to play with the 3d off most of the time on my standard XL, but its really good on the n3DS

Nice thinking. Interesting thought. Isn't this how they get the system to boot Launcher.dat ?
Currently no, but this method is very likely to be used if any kind of QR code is involved.

I'm kind of worried that the exploit will involve scanning a QR code that downloads something from a server hosted by Gateway. Is it possible to scan a QR code that redirects the system to launch a new Launcher?

It might involve scanning a QR code which triggers the exploit but Im sure it wont download the files via the QR code since theres a chance we get the update nag. The QR code will most likely be for activating the files that are on the SD card. ( assuming a QR method is involved )

Um yes I always use it but its just a gimmick for me too. Glad that someone enjoy it more than I do anyway, the new 3ds should be awesome for them.

From what I heard, it's an improvement, but still not flawless. Anyways, despite the 3DS's main attraction supposedly being the 3D, I honestly could not care less for the 3D. It's kind of cool, but I find myself always keeping it off after the initial hype.

an American got the couldn't care less quote correct! woah the 1st ive ever witnessed....

3D + Resident Evil: Revelations + Darkness + Headphones + CPP/C-Stick + 3D [Super stable for the rich guys :(] + Night time

Best Resident Evil experience. :P

3D really differentiates the 3DS from other handhelds as well. When I buy 3DS games, I am always hoping for good 3D implementation. I also want to play 3D games in 3D whenever I please.

Doesn't matter what you've heard. I own one. And yes, unless you shake it around like an orangutan shakes his wang, it is pretty much flawless 3D for a near 180 degree view.
only issue i have is if you look away for a second, it messes up the 3d for a second when you look back, other than that its an amazing upgrade
Umh I bought it because games differentiates it from others handhelds, but hey everyone enjoy something different I guess, that's life.
yeah, to each their own i suppose, personally i want a fan of the 3d until i got the n3DS, and it actually adds more than it detracts from the game

lol, yeah, but 3D seems like such a game changer in video games. It feels much more immersive imo. Obv there are games that are different like SSB4 and Pokemon which don't even need 3D to be fun.

Thats because it tracks your actual eyeballs and the direction they are pointing via IR.

This. Lack of 3D in Final Fantasy Explorers was really disappointing, and it made the game look terrible IMO. The text was almost illegible. I find that 3D tends to make text and other objects appear sharper (as well as 3D ofc :wtf: )

Yea I guess my favorite games aren't the ones who get the most out of the 3D. I find it nice anyway, I mean I always have it on, just isn't the "wow I must have it" factor for me, I would have bought it without the 3D anyway.
