So what do you guys think are the possibilities on New 3DS enhanced games?

I noticed with the DSi most of the enhanced games manly went into DSiWare games with a few exceptions on retail DSi games like Pokemon Black/White and even fewer DSi exclusive titles.

Given the 3DS is already very capable for pretty much all 3DWare titles, I'm almost certain this time around New 3DS enhanced games will be mainly focused on future retail 3DS titles to give game developers more room for making titles look and play better on the New 3DS (the definitive version and the way the developer intended the game to played) while still keeping the core gameplay experience intact for those playing the game on the old 3DS.

No need, I think people already knew that ._.

Im hoping for a some kind of Splatoon(Wii U) game in 3ds
Mario Sunshine is about cleaning stuff ._. oh well so close.
Wait, doesn't the New 3DS use a quad-core processor? The supposed leaked specs sheet lists a dual-core processor... Plus, why would Ninty remake Twilight Princess so soon? Didn't the game rely on motion controls with the Wiimote and all?

Oh well fake or not.
We got an intuition that games are going to be ports that the 3ds can't handle
or there would be enhanced experience in the N3ds

(Hope they make 1 of the buttons + directional input do tilts in SSB3ds)

Does look questionable on the CPU since it's been confirmed the New 3DS's CPU has the same clock speed just two extra cores and for the RAM I've not heard anything yet but double the ram of the old 3DS does sound correct to me.

And I've been suspecting that the GPU on the New 3DS has a faster core clock and the VRAM increased to 10MB which has been pretty much confirmed, this looks pretty legit.

Perhaps Nintendo chose to go quad core instead of increasing the core clock on the a dual core which is not as good overall for both games, the OS and multitasking.

And the last thing is Twilight Princess sounds questionable since Majora's Mask remake is already in development but if true this means the 3DS will eventually get 5 Zelda games in it's lifetime (2 remakes, 1 port and 2 exclusives) which is pretty awesome.

questionable? Facts aren't copyrightable, nor are collections of facts. So (c) Nintendo makes no sense. Also doesn't Wikipedia already list all of this and more? :/

To be honest I feel like the New Nintendo 3DS is literally Nintendo's ninja'd next generation handheld. I mean come on it qualifies for it in aLOT of ways

1) New CPU
2) New Features
3) New Look

Hence, I personally believe that yes, there will be a shitton load of new 3ds games available.

Xenoblade announced, one of many.

Really wished Nintendo chose NA over AU for the November release though, would have been so perfect for the Holidays but I know they just want to get rid of old 3DS's sitting in store shelves for the Black Friday, Christmas and Boxing Day sales (Canada only) and thus they pushed back the release date for the New 3DS in NA and EU.

I'm good with Xenoblade exclusive for the New 3DS and from what I've read online Monster Hunter 4G has some improvement on the New 3DS aside from the 30 second faster loading time and built in C stick for camera control.

I also wish Capcom would localized E.X. Troopers already and have it ready as a launch title for the New 3DS in NA and EU.

Depends how much nintendo wants to turn their backs on their massive install base. You can only do so much while supporting the early adopters.

During the direct they clearly meantioned due to the Increase CPU speed Xenoblade was possible.
They are able to optimise game code across all 4 cores so that's good to know.

I bet Twilight princess and Skyward Swords are all possible on the N3DS, the boost in CPU should somewhat help, otherwise impossible on the old 3DS. The fact 3DS is only pushing for 240P, makes its life easier. We already have MH3 Ultimate outclassing the Wii version in graphics and performance, except res. Also DKCR 3D close to the Wii version at a cost of 30 FPS. N3DS has better potential.

nintendo need to be careful.

3DS install base is huge. Hugely successful console. Don't ruin what you have!

If nintendo release a bread and button mario title for the new nintendo 3DS exclusively, I will be hugely disappointed.

What do you see becoming the norm for the N3DS? 60fps?
what about resolution? same at 240 or do you think Nintendo can push that higher but at 30fps instead?

I'm pretty sure that that's always in the pipeline.

No I don't think Nintendo is that stupid to ignore the huge install base on the old 3DS for the time being however looking into the future the will be many games that are going to be New 3DS enhanced that look graphically better on the New 3DS with extra features and no hit on performance when 3D is turned on (thanks to the GPU core speed on the New 3DS being double that of the old 3DS, which I believe is true just not yet confirmed).

Think of it like this, the old 3DS will be like what a 2DS is right now once developers start making New 3DS enhanced games that not only looks better in 2D but will also have better effects in 3D while retaining the same performance with 3D turned on. Meanwhile these New 3DS enhanced games on the old 3DS will not look as good and will probably take a performance hit with the 3D turned on, it's not like a lot of old 3DS users use the 3D anyways since it's nowhere as good as the face tracking 3D from any angle on the New 3DS. Which in turn essentially tuns the old 3DS into a 2DS because not many old 3DS users will be turning on the 3D due to the weird angle it needs to be held at for 3D to work and the performance hit on newer games that are New 3DS enhanced.
