But why do I need to do that? I already have a rom. -.-
The 3DS has a hardware aes engine, with a secret key scrambler built into it. The whole point of this program is to use the fact that while we don't personally know the key scrambler algorithm, the 3ds does. With control of the arm9 core we can instruct the 3ds aes engine to do the crypto for us.

The people you were responding to, were in turn responding to hiccup in regards to decrypting DLC. Context is important isn't it?
Indeed. Oh well, such is life.

Relys: "#parsedir('backups', ctrlist) #I don't have anything to test this with" In 9.2 emunand, highlight an installed 3DSWare and press the arrow pointing to the right next to "Manual" or "Open" and press "Save Data Backup". Save files are stored in folders, each corresponding to the position in the Save Data Backup menu and in another folder with the titleid.

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but is there any way that this could be turned into a .3ds/.cia homebrew? I ask this because I am running a Gateway setup with FTPony. I can transfer .cia files to my 3DS without removing my SD card. The only time that I have to remove my SD card is when I'm doing XORPads. It'd be convenient if there was a homebrew where I could transfer over the ncchinfo, run the homebrew, and have it generate the pads. That way, I could just FTP them over to my PC without having to swap my SD card out.

Is it possible to process multiple ncchinfo.bin's at the same time? It would save so much time for someone with a large SD card and multiple roms to decrypt :)

You can input multiple files at once into the ctrkeygen. Like, you can do "ctrkeygen.py mario.3ds layton.3ds hmpm2.3ds etc".

How can I converting eShop .app to .3ds?

Download HarmoKnight Trial from eshop. Generate a title.<id>.<id>.content.00000000.app.xorpad using SD_Decryptor_v2, it has been decrypted,
But missing NCSD header and GW doesn't boot.

yeah, you're trying to boot a CXI. those can technically be booted (they're 99% of the CCI) but the 3ds expects cartridges to be a CCI (NCSD + NCCH).

if you want to play it as a CCI you can use the NCCH decryptor on the *.app to extract the exheader, exefs, and romfs in the same way as a rom. after that, just build it with makerom as if you were recompiling any rom. then if you want to reinstall it (for example, with game mods) you can convert that CCI back into a CIA using a tutorial around these forums.

I succeeded to convert the CCI. Thanks a lot!

Does NCCH decryptor support 4GByte games like Bravely Default? I tried it and it says "Number of entries: -268435453 Nothing to do. :/ (-268435453)"
