(Also, the ability/EV limits are in place to keep people from complaining about not being able to use them online, and it's really easy to circumvent the program's restriction...
That's a nasty reason, but I'll look into the source in a little bit to see if I can come up with something to dodge that kinda stuff. Thanks for the info!
Well, you can't battle outside of your cartridge if you have >510 EVs, and you can only battle locally if you have illegal abilities. Patch 1.3 made all online (wifi) interactions (including passerby / friend battles) use their pkm validation service. The 510 limit is hard coded into the cart. I don't publicize the 'trick' to unlock PKHeX because it's really a limited use thing.
Anyways, have fun with the checksum fixer, has been confirmed working![]()

i was literally about to RE the checksum table lol.. thanks for saving me work senpai :^)PKHeX should handle the x/y saves just fine, it's the exact same file as you'd get from Cyber Save Editor.

Made a small program that handles checksum fixing for OR/AS demo saves; hex edit on your own then drop it into this program.
lel hax

nope, the save file is much smaller for oras so the checksums are all different.. you cant use pkhex to fix it.Oh you... Nice one! Did you just run it through PKHex, or was it really that easy to find the offset?
