nice! Would it be possible to do it with recent games tho?

I don't know, but I'm going to see if I can convert 3DS to CIA following some instructions I got from the CFW thread. If it works it means that CIA will be more usefull as they now are of interest for CWF users, but GW users too now.

Use the Dev menu Rom to install Dev menu CIA.

So what exactly can i do with this update and devmenu.
- install dlc's?
- Run games without flashcard?( to what degree without flashcard?)
- install games on sd?
- fill in something i dont know?
and what makes a .cia file different from a .3ds/3dz?
thnx ^^

-Yes
-You need Gateway in order to launch the latest EmuNAND so each time you need to boot in order to play games
-yes
-Makes launching games infinitely easier than using the Gateway integrated menu. Makes Homebrew application have access to higher privileges, meaning speed boosts. It's incredibly good news.

I put both the SDK and CFW DevMenus on the microSD. The CFW one has no picture in the ROM list. Attempting to select either of them to load will do nothing, as if no game card was installed.

Lol they wont allow later versions of Devmenu to install but they allow the buggy ass one too.

On another note, Why isnt the OP updating the first post with relevant info about what we can and cant do!

So you dont need the flashcard if you're running, idk, emunand with v7xx? (forgot from which firmware gateway forced people to have red card inserted to run emunand)
does that mean you can only play up to 7.xx games or still 4.5?
(ps: i do have a gateway card, its just that im interested in knowing about these kind of stuffs :P)

I can't check right now, but I'm almost definitely sure that with this update, EmuNAND REQUIRES the red flashcard in order to boot now, regardless of firmware version.
Either way, you can't really install DevMenu unless you have the red card since you need to launch it as a ROM anyways.
