That would send the .cia to your computer. The goal is to send it to the 3DS.

1. how to convert .3ds to .cia? is there any link i can follow?
2. will i be able to decrypt all new games and playable in cfw?
3. how about other region games/dlc?

So at the end of this whole process, the only thing changed on the console should be the DS exploit right? If I wanted to try all this, I could simply set up CFW on a secondary SD card and everytime I wanted to swap between CFW and GW I would just have to swap the SD cards and the DS exploit("homebrew 4.x" and "gateway 4.x") right?

Id0 and id1 are hexadecimal long numbers.

Yeah, he killed all the non-illegal download links with the "illegal" one's.
