Probably because you have no arguments to oppose, and I understand that (that a bit weird to be happy to see a CFW and to critize people that created it just because they didn't wanted to give it to you in the first place).

No one is stopping you from using this CFW anyway, so I don't see the problem. Just go ahead and install/use it? (I don't think anyone care about it)

As I said in my previous message, I use a CFW on my PS3 (4.55 Rogero) and didn't installed 4.60 for the same reason (it's a leaked version).

Actually, installing CIA files directly seems to overcome region-locking from what I've heard. If you decide to use this, try installing and running 3DSWare from outside your region. It should work.

No, region is still locked. It's inside the exefs/icon.

DevMenu can launch games, I read somewhere that it ignores the game region. That should work right?

The build.py script also did not work at all as gcc wouldn't accept the wildcards so I just compiled them manually and was able to compile arm9_code.s but not boot.s

The released source file isn't the full CFW, it's tangentially related, but you're looking for the precompiled one on his 3DS-CFW.html page

Good fucking luck getting this shit working. I'm able to get into my Emunand using the launcher (After, ya know, like 6 attempts), and then the program just says "Failed to connect". I've rebooted the emunand like 6 times now, and it still says this. My computer is easily able to ping my 3DS, so it's not my computer's fault...

Can't do that either, GW launcher blocks updates from cart/ROM, and 1.0 which doesn't block updates can't launch ROMs on a GW with the multi-ROM firmware update.

I think you can hold up on the dpad while booting Gateway to let you update from a ROM.
