what hardware would one need to use this? what sort of card.

Sorry, let me reiterate. Shit happens, it was bound to happen sooner or later. As long as we don't have to rely on flashcards anymore, that to me, is a step in the right direction even if it's still limited to 4.5 for the time being...I guess that's what I was trying to say. Free soft mods are better in my opinion ^_^

You must known that these devs are still relying on GW's work everytime a new firmware is released.

Does this enable romfs decryption of DLC? Or is this something else?

Lets you install games/applications that are in cia format to your 3DS SD card. For instance, you could install blargsnes to your 3DS itself without the use of a Gateway.

Ahh alright xD I hope Gateway won't get angry though lol

You'll always have people that have a gateway and prefer to still use it, because you never know what can happen with a CFW (gateway install nothing directly on the 3DS, except the DS exploit).

For example, I won't install a CFW on my 4.5 3DS because I don't have the utility of it, I already have a gateway.

Oh yeah, there's that, not denying that aspect lol. If the GW gets mad for someone reverse-engineering their FW shit happens, they get mad.

On one side you have angry real and psuedo devs mad because their work -- that is buggy as fuck and outdated--was stolen and released to the public regardless of the fact that it doesn't effect them at all.

On another side you have people who turn a blind eye to thievery (Because hey, its not MY shit stolen right?) and rejoice while chastising previously mentioned devs as if they could have built it all along (Regardless of that fact that 90% of them can barely set the timer on their kitchen ovens).

On the third side you have people who are justifying the release of a CFW by saying: "Everything should be free, fuck flashcards" or "I dont see what's the big deal" when they aren't contributing shit themselves.

In the final corner we have Govanify waving his e-Peen as if he's some righteous Robin Hood, stealing from the Rich (Nintendo, 3DS Scene devs, etc) and giving to the needy (impatient gimme this-gimme that self-entitled twats).

It's days like this that make me wish i owned a PSVita. I said it once, so Ill say it again: If you didn't already have DevMenu before today or your only interest in Devmenu is one of the following:

  1. FREE WAREZ!
  2. Flashcards are holding us back!
  3. FREE FREE GIMME GIMME
... then you probably shouldn't have it in the first place.

Theres not enough tampons to go around because the entire 3DS scene is simultaneously bleeding from it's vagina.

Im very confused, how exactly did he manage to steal files xD ?
Its not like he went to the console and typed in, "hack st4rk 3ds files" and they suddenly appeared on his harddrive.
Either hes a super skilled hacker, no offense giovani but i dont think so ^^, or someone must have done something very stupid to get his security compromised :)

A remote administration tool installed via social engineering and a Skype vulnerability.

Guys, confirmed:
Also, this will not happen again, i guarantee. Now everyone go, enjoy and fuck yourselfs (to all the warez
idiots and the Givanifi bastard). Don't expect anything ever again from us.

Haha.. I never expected anything from them.
They will be as secret as they have been.
