Gaming Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker - Anyone pre-ordering it here?

There's now a release date for Europe.

1) Portugal and Spain - January 2, 2015.
2) Rest of Europe - January 9, 2015.

Nintendo figured out no one would buy this over Smash so it was a good move although it'll probably still sell like crap.

Oh and for Australia it's January 10, 2015.

considering each level takes like 1-2 min to do fully with all the collectables you got around 2 hours and half of a game wich isnt very appealing.

Even if the game had 200 levels it probably wouldn't be very appealing too, imo.

The game's going for £27.99 on Zavvi so it's slightly cheaper than the other UK retailers but nah. I'd only play this if it were a DLC pack for Mario 3D World or when it drops down to £10-15.

Nonsense. Have you played this game, or only 3D world? The levels in this game are going to much bigger, much more complicated, and much more difficult. It make takes hours to figure out some of the difficult ones, if they made this game correctly. The 20 or secret levels at the end of the game should be very difficult.

The US cover looks quite... off, unfinished and unsuitable.

It's not like they didn't have time to work on the background it's done for the EU version so they could've borrowed that for the US release but I guess they're trying to make it feel like Wind Waker HD although this just doesn't look that good as WWHD Gold does.

IGN gave the game an 8/10 so while that's good and it looks cute, it's just hard to consider it an actual retail game rather than an eShop or Mario 3D World DLC.

For Europe it'll be released on January 2015 and that alone isn't a good sign (January is usually a very dry month for games and when people are unaware), just another Wii U game that's probably going to tank its sales.

I have mixed feelings about this game, not sure if I'm going to buy it at release TBH. It looks fun enough and I'm sure to pick it up eventually but it doesn't seem worth the price.

It was £25 on Amazon UK a few days ago but I didn't feel like pre-ordering because that still felt too much for this game. Instead, I have Wind Waker HD coming my way for £22.

I thought I wouldn't go for it but after finding a deal for £25.15 I decided to pre-order it.

This game is probably gonna sell like shit not only because of the month it's coming out but also that Captain Toad isn't all that popular.

Released on Monday in the UK - 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. People who ordered it online have already got theirs.

GAME is the only doing it while the other retailers such as TGC have told me they're only getting their shipment on the 29-30 and so by Friday (January 2, 2015) the customers who ordered will have it.

Whatever, I'm liking Pac Adventures 2 so I'm in no rush for Captain Toad besides when I get to this game I'll be forced to go back to play on the GamePad.
