Hardware Wii Shop Channe Region Issue

I purchased a new Wii from Amazon and had it shipped to me in Trinindad

Recently I was introduced to Netflix so would like to be able to use the WII with Netflix, Youtube and the Internet as minimum

However when I try to download the apps I get the message 'Shop Channel is not available in your Region'

How do I get past this issue?

Try changing your región in the Wii options.

Get the wads online and install them with wad manager through the homebrew channel.
