Hacking Gateway & Fire Emblem awakening

Hello

While playing fire emblem awakening, i wanted to download free DLC contents but i feared from getting banned or something like that, is there a risk if i try to download FE dlc ?

No one knows the risk associated with using emuNAND or ROMs online yet.....

It seems currently that Nintendo is happy just playing a cat and mouse game for the time being, that is, Gateway team releases an update and Nintendo blocks it in the next firmware.....

You should be fine. I'd hurry up and download everything i could before Nintedo's next 'stability and security' update.

There has been no ****reported**** incidents of nintendo banning any 3DS user for any reason.

I'll let you make your own decision though. As i said earlier, it's too early in the scene and no one really knows how nintendo will handle the situation.

maybe your console id will be put on a big list that nintendo is keeping, and they will ban us all on new year's day 2015... who knows, just be calm and download your dlc, enjoy your games...

- it would have been more helpful to you and everyone if the topic was named something like gateway + dlc, or eshop, because this is nothing specific to fire emblem... right

Yeah, you need to use emuNAND for that.

You have to have GW card to run latest EmuNand. You need to backup your sysnand, create emunand, and then update when in emunand thru system settings. There should be plenty of guides out there to do this so find them and follow them.

If you already have an emunand and are on a previous version then update to the new 2.3b launcher, boot to emunand and just update. If you can sign on eShop then you will be able to purchase the DLC from within the game.

You actually don't have to use A NNID to purchase dlc on the 3DS. Just put a $$$ card on it and buy the dlc.

yeah if you do a system transfer anything you bought will be downloadable on the new console

It is stored on the sd card. But nintendo also keeps track of what you buy.
