Not all crashes lead to exploits, unfortunately, so I wouldn't get my hopes up that soon.

hmmmm i'll have to see if i can get plex set up and make a dummy video file of that exact file size to see if i can recreate it. Unfortunately, I'm on 5.0.0U so I'm not sure we'll end up with the same result but its worth a shot.

One thing to remember is that PLEX transcodes video as well so that could be part of the problem.

Just because crap software crashes and refuses to work doesn't mean that it's immediately exploitable - everything depends on the nature of the crash.

Interesting, but maybe it's only a normal crash, better find WebKit bugs, it stills having some of them.

PLEX and this video works fine on PC and on my smartphone. Normally I get an error that the wii u is not able to play a video that doesn't work. but with the wii u internet explorer and plex, i am able to crash the console. It COULD be exploitable so I shared all informations with the community. If it isn't exploitable, okay... but there is a chance that it could be exploitable.

Don't take that as an attack against you, I was merely informing the greater public about the truth about crashes. More than likely, its a badly encoded video. Most anime is encoded horribly out of spec, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again. Honestly, its probably an edge case that the Wii U doesn't handle but like I said earlier, only time will tell if it is exploitable or not.
