how do you go online in tomodachi life
also when i went to launch the game it never asked for update but i went to store to download it how do i know it updated?

you can see if the game says 1.1 or whatever when you load it up, you can go to eshop again to find the update and see if it is already installed, or you can go to the downloaded content page in the 3ds settings and see what extra data you have installed on your 3ds

yup just loaded up pokemon and its on 1.2
do you have to do that whole .3dz thing to play online or its all good when its up to datE?

The two games that is anticipated by many are Smash Bros and Pokemon.
Can i say that the chance are slim that this update will run those games?

Right now I'm backuping my Nand and I'm gonna boot int emunand (actual 7.X) but next step, do I have to update emunand using the wifi connection ?

You need to use a new save file if you do the 3dz thing.

I finally got to download the Pokemon X 1.2 patch.
I had to format the EmuNAND, update again and enter the eShop.
Failed me once, at the second attempt it downloaded.

Updated my japanese 3DSLL emunand to latest.
Got Pokemon X 1.2 update and ran / traded fine with US 3DS.
Got project mirai 2 update from the shop and ran it without issue.

Yes you can, make sure to update from System Settings though. Follow the same steps for updating to 7.x

All works for me, I did get the email from GW by the way to confirm not a dodgy site Can confirm Emunand updates to the latest 8x FW and also Tom. Life works all good changed to 3dz format also E-shop works and updates for games. Apart from that I think thats about all it does, I think maybe we may see more like the GBA VC games working and saves etc.. in the proper release but works all good for me for now
