Hacking [RELEASE] EZ-Flash IV AIO

I'm very curious about this. But what indeed would be the good/better/best emulators for use on the EZ IV?

Moreover, any chance this could be updated to basically replace the official EZ4 Client? I know some anti-virus programs seem to keep flagging it on account of how it works to patch .gba ROMs.

Also, any chance this could get cheat files working again?

What NES emulator does it use?
Pocket NES

I use gooba for gameboy games and pocket nes for nes. This will not be able to replace the original client for gba games. I do have a button for inside my appilcation

Hi, I Tried to patch metal gear.gbc into the gb color square, all seems ok and appeared the massage Patched metal gear.gba to C:/gba/ (i choose that directory) but nothing was created! then i changed the directory to my sd card g:/ and neither, i crated manualy the gba folder and is empy! i think that already isn´t created nothing. thanks.

Have you downloaded the latest version? Also, try to give the rom a custom name

This is absolutely amazing. Paired with a No-Intro set of ROMs this probably works like a dream. Thank you! Too bad my GBA is dead and I need to replace the screen so I can't test this now, but I'm really excited to use it.

Version 1.2 is out! I have optimized the cleaning of leftover files and I have fixed the patching with goomba, goomba color and pocketNES. Everything should now be working. I have tested each emulator and they worked for me and should work for everyone else too.

Please download the latest version in the opening post

So with this program, do I still need to import these emulators over to the EZ 4? How would I do that? Or would these be ready-made so that I just click the ROM and load it up accordingly?

^This
It will create a real .gba file from the rom and then place it on to the SD card along with a save file
It's really a drag-and-drop game porter for nes and gameboy games. I might add more emulators in the future

I have the same problem as mentioned before - I drag the .nes or .gb file into the box, I even have custom naming, and it doesn't actually create a .gba and save file for it, it only says it does. But on top of that I wanted to thank you for this program, it's great to see someone still producing things like this =)

Can you right click the icon and see if there's any file named something with ROM inside that folder? Also, what path do you have for the output?

I even tried moving the output location elsewhere, and I'm getting an error that there is already a file located there with that name. Created a new folder, totally empty, still received the message. The weird part is if you look at the error message its trying to replace the ROM in the folder that the ROM is initially in, not output it to the new location.
The path I initially tried was G;/GBC, but it doesn't matter what output file I use, I get the same error.

Thanks again for this wonderful program, hopefully you can understand what I'm saying and figure out what's wrong =)

EDIT: I also have gotten GoombaFront to patch them correctly, so I know I can patch them with that at least.

The SD path should be the path directly to your SD card. The root folder. The program will place the rom file in the GBA folder and the save file in SAVER. Also, make sure you have downloaded the lastest version. The previous ones had problems with patching

Hey. Would you mind posting the application inside a zip file so that I can download without Chrome blocking it? Also, is it possible to update Goomba to the latest build that Dwedit is working on or is it built into your application?

Thanks for any response. :)

Sorry for the delay! I've updated the main post with a link to the zip upload :) Also, could you link me to the latest goomba version? I think I already included the latest one but I could be wrong.

I haven't worked on this since the latest release but soon enough I will change the layout and make a single box where you drop the roms (instead separate ones for GB/C, GBA and NES) and possibly include support for other emulators that work with the EZ-Flash IV.

Thank you so much Martin!

I just downloaded python and was going to manually add each nes rom through command prompt.

Your program is awesome!!!!!

Could you add smsadvance and gg advance to the client?

I couldn't get all compile to work for my sms and gg games.

I actually have that in mind for the next version! Unfortunately development has been slow but an update will come with a better UI and more emulators!

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay. I've just updated the application to include Sega Master System and Game Gear and I also rewrote the code a whole lot to make it easier to implement new emulators. That is basically all the changes I've made so far. I've not yet patched my EZ-Flash to the v1.75 kernel but one I get that done, I will include the kernel inside the package if people wants SDHC support for their card.

I've not yet had the time to test the Game Gear and Master System emulator patching, but looking at the code, everything should be working correctly. Before I update the main post, I would appreciate if someone could test it and then leave some feedback so that I know if the application is running correctly or if I need to fix something.

Has anyone got this to work with Rockman4 Minus Infinity yet? If so, MMC3 or MMC5? I look forward to playing this badass game :D
I have never tried hacked roms when patching but I can test if it works for me.

I tried your older EZFlash AIO without any problem but this one seems to be triggering a lot of warning messages from my antivirus.
