Alright, good news guys. :) Thanks to some work by Chadderz and me, we were able to get memory dumps on a 5.0.0 Wii U. I then used these memory dumps to rebuild the ROP chain, which as it turns out, also works on 5.1.0. This means that all versions of the Wii U system software above and including 4.0.0 are supported. As always, you can find the code here.
Marionumber1 now SuperMarionumber1
Chadderz now Chadderznumber1
MrBean now ,uhhhh I guess he didn't do Sh#!

Thanks! I knew you could do it, thanks again!

Hello! Well, I don't really know if I should be asking this and please, go easy on me, but what does this mean in the whole Wii U hacking/ homebrew panorama? I am just curious...

It's just an exploit like it have the Wii, but this is more limited because they need kernel access and get IOSU code to get code execution in the espresso CPU and the Starbuck security CPU.

It means that all recent versions of the Wii U system software (4.0.0 through 5.1.0 inclusive) can run unsigned userspace code. Chadderz's kernel exploit also probably works on these versions.

You SHOULD make sure you do NOT auto-update (on your own) before you go CURRENT only to find out updates were NEVER blocked FULLY on your system.

i have my updates block on my system i just have to check a block in my router settings let the system update then recheck the box
