Even if they did, they wouldn't work because the exploit breaks GBA/NDS compatability.
VC releases are emulators that run in 3ds mode. The 3ds has no GBA compatibility outside of software emulation.

I dont see any reason why future GBA VC releases for 3ds wouldnt work, outside of new versions of encryption that gateway may not (yet) support.

Does it work though? I know it isnt really released yet since you just found it on predb but someone has to have it.

Heres hoping it works cause I really want metroid fusion. So im really hoping they dump them all and they work.

lets wait to see it might come out in the morning i hope. i really wanna see the vc emulation changes, because i have dstwo and can play it on tempgba emulator

GBA is unique for VC titles on 3DS in that it doesn't just run an emulator under NATIVE_FIRM, it loads a separate firmware for playing them, as it does for DS compatibility, and the AGB_FIRM it uses for GBA games is broken by the exploit.

That's interesting. Thanks for the correction.

Maybe GW team will come with a rom wrapper (as they said they have more interesting things to show up but they wouldn't talk about it yet), even though this is pure speculation...

Looks like the first GBA VC title got dumped, F Zero. Not expecting it to work with GW, but I wonder if it'd be possible for GW to fix the exploit for breaking GBA mode.

Like I said in the Ambassador Games thread, dumping the GBA games now will have a positive impact on further development in the scene. Each one's existence lowers the current compatibility percentage of flash carts, which the manufacturers want to keep as close to 100% as possible. Therefore, a whole slew of games that can't run being released around the same time should light the theoretical fire under their asses to fix it, which could probably fix the broken DS-mode as well. Plus, it'd make the DS flash cart that comes with Gateway/MT/etc more useful, as you would no longer have to go through the multiple steps to exit, re-install, and re-enter Gateway mode (or whatever your cart calls it) each time you want to run a DS game.

While I'll admit that I don't have the technical knowledge to know if it'll work, wouldn't rerouting the AGB_FIRM in a manner similar to emuNAND fix the problem? If so, I could see why the flash cart teams wouldn't want to do it, as it could possibly be used to open the Pandora's box known as CFW. Again, I don't really know the technical reasons behind the way things like emuNAND function. I'm merely hypothesizing on a basic logic level, based on the general function of things like emuNAND and not the specific way that they are programmed to work.

I haven't been able to find it anywhere, even the usual 0 day sources. That and neither the filename or anything is on 3ds.essh.co for details makes me wonder if its truly "in the wild" yet.

it still wont be playable unless gateway manage to fix NDS/GBA compatibility in emunand/gateway mode

It is in the wild. Just not as a 3ds rom but rather as a 3dsware (meaning as a .cia file iirc)
