Did someone try the EU tomodachi life on an american 3ds ? It would be nice to see if the encryption disables the region free ability of the gateway or not.

Hopefully the upload of the 2.3 update with 7.2 support made them exceed the capacity of their server so they are migrating to another one

i hope not, that would be one hell of a upload lol, probs just everyone setting up auto refreshers to the gateway page uses up a lot of bandwidth

It's probably them using the cheapest hosting known to mankind with an extremely limited bandwith.

Yes. Haven't tried actually playing it yet, but it starts, and creates save data, so it doesn't use the new protection.

Yes, I have about 6 hours of gameplay time now. Everything except eShop/DLC stuff works.

There is no new FW yet, it's just a update to say they nearly have it

Theres a firmware 8.x out now. Good thing its not putting the update behind....be careful doe says you shouldn't update.
