Hardware Green/Purple display on vWii

Hello everybody,

I've got a problem with my Wii U, I think it happened after I updated to 5.0.0U, the display when I am on the vWii is all in green and purple.

This happens only on the TV, the colors on the gamepad are perfectly normal.

I tried to change my HDMI cable and switched to another HDMI port on my TV but the result is the same.

Please help!

what about trying a different TV?. also, see if the TV has a option to change from RGB to YCbCr and set it to RGB if it is not already.

I don't have a different TV to try and there is no option about RGB/YCbCr

Could you try the Composite kable if you have one?

Yes, you could try using a component cable. or change the video settings on your vWii

I think I updated my TV firmware (that I got from the official site of the constructor and installed via USB), hope it helps!
