Hacking gateway, emunand and system update

Hello everyone.
Is it safe to update emunand to the latest Nintendo firmware ?
I`m using gateway 3ds card.

upd. at 23.06.2014 looks like it is unsafe

It is safe as there is an official update from gateway.
Be only carefull for bètas. However there are issues with savedatas if you don't close perfectly like pressing home.
But I didn't have any problems yet.

Nop the latest is 2.2 with 7.1 support. You should check the Gateway site for news.
