im guessing next year it will be $30 :)

Probably, but then again.. Electronics always get cheaper with time. Buy a decent card now (32/64) and use that for a few years. If you need a larger card in the future, buy a new one. You'll probably get a 256/512 card in a few years for the price of the 128 now.

128GB should work, but i always like the saying "don't put all your eggs in 1 basket, if your card breaks for whatever reason thats it, i would suggest 2 64GB or 4 32GB.....unless you really have a lot of games you want at the same time
I agree with you. After my 32 GB card was fried by some electronic device, I decided against buying bigger capacity cards. Nothing more than 32GB for me, in case any of them fails, so they are easily replaceable. Most people won't need more than two or three games at a time.

What do people think of this card:- http://www.mobymemory.co.uk/5069-sa...0-70mb-s-uhs-i-memory-card-8806085213449.html
I want to get another 64GB and this has got a high reading speed of 70MB/s which is alot better for loading the games quicker from the multimenu. Has anyone bought this one and tested it yet? Thanks.

Seriously, 70 MB/s is wasted on a Gateway. You'd really benefit those speeds when loading tons of pictures in RAW format from a DSLR memory card instead of a 3DS flashcart. Get something like this instead:

Not sure if the place has free delivery, but this place has:

Funny enough that was the first one I bought and don't get me wrong its a fantastic reliable Micro-SD card but I found that the one I originally bought, the Transcend 64GB Premium model (that went wrong and had to go back in exchange for the San-Disc) had a read speed of 45MB/s and you do notice a big difference between the two when loading the games off your Multimenu screen, the Transcend did seem a lot quicker but obviously not a good card for reliability, I can't stress that enough, it lasted me only 2 weeks! I bought the two from Mymemory.co.uk off your second link and its a really good online store they handled the exchanges with no fuss at all. I would recommend Mymemory to anyone buying a memory card online. That Samsung Pro is a hell of a good price from my link that can retail up to 60 odd quid at other places, that's why I was interested in it.

Sorry I bought this one: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDX...-SD-(SDXC)-Card---Class-10-UHS-1-+-SD-Adapter

If I'm using a 32GB MicroSD, should I format it as as Fat32 or ExFat?

"As we try to stay futureproof with our product, FAT32 is not the only filesystem
we decided to support. Higher capacity cards typically ship with
the ExFAT filesystem, so it was only natural that we added support for ExFAT as well.
ExFAT actually removes the 4GB file size limitation that FAT32 has, so this means you won’t ever have to split up 4GB+ games.
For this reason, we actually recommend using ExFAT on your MicroSD cards. As an added bonus,
games on the ExFAT filesystem load much faster than on FAT32, so we really recommend it." - Gateway.

Does the class of a MicroSD affect only the speed when you're putting things on to the MicroSD?
And does it affect when you load games from the Multi game menu in Gateway mode?

We'll it does effect both its not really going to be all that noticeable, there no huge difference between a class 4 or a class 10 in my experience.....maybe a second or 2 more when initially selecting the game from the menu, but in game you would've unlikely to nice any difference

Claas is only going to affect how fast you can write data to the card, so bascilly how fast your computer will write the roms to it

But generally higher write speeds have higher read speeds. If the price is the same, I'd recommend a higher class SD card regardless :p
