NeoGAF, really? NeoGAF? They're worse than IGN when it comes to one-sided/biased opinions. They have no credibility, they're worse than Eurogamer in terms of notoriety. If I want to discuss topics without them devolving into blatant fanboyism, I go to another site, but that ain't one of them.

IMO I think the Wii U and Vita both have games(good ones too)... it just that people are spoiled these days.. and want a AAAAAAAAAA game released every other day.. the VITA and Wii U are taking chance with new concepts... IDK when the fuck a game like COD AND FIFA(which i play alot) became the normal thing. some times evolution is good for bigger better stronger thing.

I was trying to (albeit poorly) make fun of the mentality of the whole "Wii U doesn't have games, derr herr herr, herpa derp, etc" mentality that's all to prevalent nowadays. It's unfortunate, and people have already made up their minds. I don't have a vita, but maybe one of these days.... I have many Wii U games that I enjoy and do plan on getting Mario Kart 8. By and large, people are implacable when it comes to what they want in games.

No offense but if not for the Nintendo logo on the system and Nintendo franchises I care for, you'd sooner see me walking out of a store with an Xbox One than with a Wii U - it's just a better system.

One console being better or worse than another is purely subjective, as there are people who would disagree with that in either direction. If a person likes a console more than another, then that, but saying a console is better without saying why is just confusing. Had you said "the Xbox One is better due to its game library", etc, then that would be an argument that I can agree with. Just saying "it's better than X console" without stating your opinion as to WHY, then I have to disagree. Again, not trying to argue at all, opinions are subjective, but I wished that people would explain why they prefer a console over another as opposed to saying they like X over Y without saying why.

I like the Wii U because I grew up on Nintendo, I like their first party games, I like the backlog of being able to play Wii games and via homebrew, Gamecube games. I also like the free online, that there is my reason why I prefer it over the Xbox. Sony and Nintendo all the way. Microsoft can kiss my ass, all glory to the Xbox One!!

I have my reasons as you have yours. This is the way debates should be done.

Your argument really boils down to "I grew up on Nintendo" - I know the feeling, I did too. That's why I bought a Gamecube and not a PS2, that's why the first 7th generation console was the Wii and not the PS3, that's why I bought a DS first and the PSP came along later (given to me as a gift... that being said, the main reason why I bought the DS was because my lass had one ) and that's why I have two 3DS'es in my room. That being said, I can objectively state that the Xbox One is a better system in and out of itself - liking or disliking the library is a whole different can of worms.
