Hacking New 3DS system update 7.2.0-17

So I went to the eshop today and it said theres an update available so idk anyone want to brave updating to see if it works in CFW?

OFFICIAL CHANGELOG

• Added e-mail support to Parental Controls, allowing parents that have forgotten their PIN to send themselves an e-mail with instructions on unlocking Parental Controls.
• Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.

ACTUAL CHANGES- Courtesy of yellow8

• System Settings, eShop, and the NNID Settings application were updated. All three of these applications now use the NCCH encryption added with 7.0.0-13, none of the other updated titles were updated to use the new NCCH encryption.
• The USA 0004009B00012302 USA title was updated, the other regions of that title were updated as well
• The 0004001B00018002 title was updated.
• The NZone hotspot list was updated.
• NVer and CVer were updated.
• The mint and olv(Miiverse) applets were updated.
• The "eula" CFA was updated, for only EUR.
• The following system modules were updated: cfg, HID, NIM, NWM, RO, NS, and act.
• NATIVE_FIRM was updated. The only actual updated code in NATIVE_FIRM was Process9, and the FIRM ARM11 modules.

The update seems to break compatibility for 3DS flashcarts in terms of system menu and eShop access. This includes downloading updates for online multiplayer games too.

Just wait for someone with usb mod so they can restore their nand if anything happens xD

ED: inb4 nintendo applies a sneak update that updates the fpga of the gateway and bricks it or makes it so the launcher doesn't recognize it as a gateway LOL

well hopefully is just a incompatibility bug with gateway, but so far
System setting doesn't work
E-shop doesn't work

everything else appears to work as normal, online still working and other system apps

Pretty much so avoid updating

it depends, if its anything to do with the 7.x encrytion of apps, i dont think gateway could fix it

irc chatter claims it's, "nothing twl whitelist/firm related"
so it looks AP free surprisingly
