Hi Guys,
I have a MT Card (updated to the last HW e SW versions). In order to play original games, I have to update the EmuNand. Now, after accessing to the Emunand and selecting to update the Emunand I encountered a few issues:

1) [REAL NAND] Nintendo 3DS rarely manage to connect to internet. Usually 51***, 52*** [...] error happens.
2) [REAL NAND] Sometimes, after changing the access point options 3DS connects to internet.
3) [EMUNAND] However, after accessing to the EmuNand when I select the update option it says that "no access point are found"

*Even if verifying the internet connection in REAL NAND with the same options

4) [EMUNAND] If i try to access to the internet option in EMUNAND, the EMUNAND crashes. So i can't test the connection when I am in EMUNAND.

So, it seems that updating EMUNAND through internet is a little annoying.
Now, can I update the EMUNAND with an original cartridge? (Verifying first that I'm in EMUNAND, obviously) Is it safe? Are there some issues or restrictions?

no you have to do it in system settings, try formatting your system and setting emunand up again

So, are you suggesting to format both the Real nand by the options menu and the emunand by the format emunand option?
ifsomething was wrong with your original firmware formatting it should fix it....but then your emunand was still made using the original nand.....so you would have to set that up again.

you may be able to just pick format system in emunand but not sure if that can cause any other issues, which is why i suggest just starting off completely fresh :)

and just remember the format emunand option formats the SD card so back up your saves/files before doing it

you can make a copy of your emunand for safe keeping, but if your having major issues with your 3DS i would suggest just starting out completely fresh

I tried to disable every form of Wi-Fi protection. I think that isn't a connection issue, but a console one: the screen turns black (and freezes) when, in EmuNand (in Real Nand I can set the internet connection very easily), i go to the Internet Connection Settings.

Just so you know, if you update emunand it will now update to 7.2 which will mean system settings will be unavailable anyway.

Did you already update or still on 4.x emunand, if your still in 4.x the last thing I can think is your 3ds's SD card may be faulty, try a different SD in the 3DS

Excuse me, it means that updating now I could not update the emunand further than the 7.2?

EDIT: So it seems that there insn't a way out? No other ways to update?

We'll gateway are supposedly working on a fix, you should still be able to update *too* 7.2 if you haven't already, the only things that won't work is system settings and eshop

Maybe a silly ? but how far are you from the router? I've found that my Nintendo handhelds are much more picky about that any of my other wifi stuff. Try right next to the router if you haven't already.

I'm right next to the router. The problem is the black screen, even formatting the emunand
