Gaming PSP games worth owning?

PSP has quite a nice catalogue of games even if it's small it's fine by me. Simply by using Remote Joy Lite makes PSP feel like a home console.

BBS was good but very repetitive. most of the stories in the worlds were very very poor but the actual KH storyline was excellent.. just very repeititive.


Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky would be my reccomendation. Very slow but enjoyable start, but the story picks up and picks up, it goes from strength to strength and was genuinely an enjoyable and well paced title.

Know DJ MAX Portable, know life. Prinny is the best platformer on the system, and Initial D is a great import if you dig street racing (and who doesn't?).

Half Minute Hero is great too.

Death Jr 1 and 2 are pretty funny.

Also, go with GTA CW and VCS.

Both the official Disgaea games, those should take a while to 'complete'. The Phantasy Star games are pretty cool too.

Regarding Birth By Sleep, only get it if you're a real fan of Kingdom Hearts or JRPG's. The game has three different characters which each use the same worlds and enemies so by the end of the first character it'll start getting boring.

btw install cfw on your psp and u can get all those for free and even emulate sega games and such. some of the best game i played on psp were games like snatcher and policenauts which you can find eboots of.

in my opinion, tactics ogre psp is the only game ever worth in psp. probably one of the best game I ever played. other games... hmm, so far none of them ever hooked me like this one. this is a subjective opinion btw.

Persona 3 Portable, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (especially final mix) are all fantastic. Lots of other excellent titles, but those are some of my personal favorites

 

[VMM]

Megaman Marverick Hunter X is a must buy, it's my favorite PSP game of all time.
Megaman Powered Up is really nice.
Dissidia Duodecim
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core.
Dead to Rights: Reckoning, it's a diamond in the rough, it's really nice, although it's a tad short, the final is really surprising.
Bleach: Heat the Soul 7, if you like Bleach and fighting games, this is definetly for you
Locoroco 2, it's a kids game but it's very entertaining and really hard to complete 100%
N+, simple graphics but an outstanding platform.
Daxter, one of the best PSP games I've ever played.

Why not just use the psp component cables for psp 2000 or 3000 models? You can play psp on a TV that way.

Dont listen to one of them.. You should get Mega Man X Maverick Hunter. I loved the fmv movie. It rocks and better than super nintendo version!

interesting. i never even knew powerstone was ported to psp.

also, unless you want soul eater and dragonball evolution simply for collections sake, dont get them. they're both rather bad fighting games

It's inferior to the SNES version and the anime that comes with it is pathetic.
