Hacking Devolution: Compatible with GC LAN online emulation?

Just found this awesome tool that lets you play GC LAN modes online.(Website seems to be down)
My question is that, does Devo supports that? If it does do I have to buy a Wii LAN adapter or Wi-Fi would work as well?
Also, can I play with other players on GC+BBA?

Devolution only emulates the modem not the BBA. So with devolution you're limited to playing PSO1+2

I've heard the latency for warppipe is pretty bad unless the person your playing with is close by.

How about the Xlink Kai? People have been saying that it's better than Warp Pipe
