Has anyone opened up a retail MT card to look at the PCB? Is it still soldered badly by hand or was that just a prototype? Haven't heard anyone talk about this since release. That was horrible PR for them, that ugly picture of a PCB soldered by a child.

It's interesting to see that an FPGA update is actually required and they're not just doing it for kicks. Looks like clone users are gonna be screwed. :P

Today we have released firmware support Pokemon, after a few days we will release a new firmware to support Eshop game. Thank you
This is the official reply from the MT Card support!
CANT WAIT FOR THIS :creep:

I hope they'll also look into supporting exFAT. If not, I can live with FAT32 but will have to split the big file (4gb limit) or trim it.

Did anyone have issue when updating the MT-Card to 1.2a ?
I tried with mine , I got an USB read error , now the card appear as unknow device and Windows can't find any driver.

Isn't there something for that case in the pdf?

Yeah there's something , either re-launch the update process (impossible in my case , the card isn't recognized) or use the windows's driver research and as I said it can't find any driver for my card

Damn it, no eshop games :(
Can someone email them and ask them if they are planning eshop support at all....I mean it only took 1 day for Gateway to support it >>

I honestly think the gateway team had that set up beforehand and then said it only took one day to build trust and awe for the team.

Oh, the conspiracy...

It's more like an educated guess by looking at their past reputation and actions. A history of taking a long time to release updates, and also lying to the community. Anyways, not very important, at least we have eshop support.
