Hacking GateWay Omega Problem

I am having this problem too! Emailed Gateway about it. Rolled back to 2.0b2 to check (I know it's dangerous!) and that continues to work fine. Wish I could peek at Gateway's log file. Might give some clues!

there isn't a real facebook page for gateway, just idiots wanting to feel special

Thanks for feedback. Our tech team is looking into this right now and we will
get back to you ASAP with a solution.
so lets w8 another few days so we can hear that the card is malfunctioning and that it needs to be replaced ^^".

TuckerTheWheelman. Maybe there are some exceptionally good copy's out there. I cannot see any other reason why it would not work. Did you buy your cards from a Gateway reseller?

Hmm.. They didn't asked me for the images. That might mean they actually read my report xD. and hearing them asking that makes me kinda sad xD Well, i hope they can figure something out, otherwise pray for a correct gateway card this time:/

am having the same problem, after a hang update, i try to load game, it load nothing...
try to rollback by installing previous gateway 2.0b2, then my 3ds got bricked... blue screen of death....

bring my beloved 3DS to the most advanced gameshop in town, only one solution from them.... change the board with new one.... (about 30% of the new 3DS price), goodbye gateway.. now my 3DS is ver 7....

Ok so I haven't heard anything new about this issue for a little while so it's time for some rampant speculation I think. In this and other threads people have suggested that this is a problem with the Red Card specifically regardless of firmware or anything else. Gateway are not able to duplicate so at the very least we will have to wait for them to either find a way to do so or to receive a card from one of us with the issue. I guess it would be useful to know how many people are affected in order to at least be able to speculate on Gateway's response (for instance, if only a few have it maybe they will offer a trade in, send your red card in and receive a replacement).

You know I kept quiet during the whole bricking fiasco and I got lucky just using 2.0b2 ( I just couldn't face 2.0b1, it was so unstable and buggy for me, I wonder if that is in some way related...) but I really didn't want to keep on using it. Would be very sad if my console bricked now because I couldn't update it. But I guess that's just a risk us pirates have to take
