If your 3DS just bricked right in front of you then I would really want to be at your side just to see your face.
The bricking code is real and it has been proven that way. Deal with it.

At the time of releasing this post , the r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition and gateway 3ds only supports 3DS/3DS XL units on firmware 4.1-4.5. If your 3DS is on a higher firmware then need to wait for the official team to release an update.
Comparing the capabilities with gateway ,though r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition is just the clone of the gateway 3ds ,it currently is even better than gateway 3ds, it has all the features that gateway 3ds has and it even releases new firmware faster than gateway 3ds and provide more new features, because it has the great tech team to support the card.

If you actually clicked that link you would see it is a load of the brown stuff. No clone aside from MT has released anything other than copies of the Gateway code and none have more features. I am no big fan of what GW did with the bricking but the link showed information that wasn't right.

I would suggest you not to buy any 3ds flashcards right now. Well actually there are some discussion going on at the Chinese forums saying that the team has found the exploits on 6.x. So, my theory is that they are waiting for the 1st generation cards to be cleared from thier factory before releasing 2.0 which I think will support 6.x, and I suppects that multirom support needs revamp of the cards too. That is why they are making "some scenario" to delay the release of 2.0 as long as they can until the 1 gen of cards are cleared(if you know what I mean ) . If you ask me why I came out with this is because based on the previous video by them, they did not show us the 3ds firmware version.

But all of these are merely speculation.

One may say Gateway is the original producer of such flashcarts however if it was not for the bricking (even on their own genuine carts), they would be the choice to get.

I'd say the better version is MT who have been showing more effort and are definitely more safer

I still wondering why Gateway and others still get no 7.x FW support. I know Nintendo detected very good, but Gateway also hacked 4.5. So whats different to the 5- 7.x series? For a guy like me, i can not use any flashcarts now, because when Gateway released, my 3DS already had 5.0 FW.

No, there is no guarantee for a new exploit. You can work on it as hard as you want, if there is nothing then there is nothing. yellows8 and neimod found the exploit not long after the release of the 3DS. If there would be something for 6.X+, then the public would know it already.

This time, I'm going to release some info about 6.1 exploit, actually GW has found the exploit and some games that are unable to play,but a chip is needed in order to mimic the real cartridge, but the old card does not has the chip, this will be released only when the final two batches of GW cards are cleared, the time should be around May, so for those who are on 6.1 please be patient.

Well when gateway showed us that the card is able to play NAND based titles, they did not showed us the firmware version too. All I can say is that this is just speculation. It is up to you to decide that it is real or not.
