They haven't had a good Kirby game since the mirror one on GBA. The latest ones I played that I recall on the Wii were extremely kiddy and just not fun as it had no challenge.

it would be funny if in the american cover kirby had a happy face

how far have you gone into return to dreamland? the game gets increasingly rough from stage 4 onwards
they seem to be using kirby wii as reference for this game, so I think if you didn't like Return to dreamland you might be disappointed, especially since Nintendo seems to have a thing for making portable games easier

( imo it was one of the best kirby games to date, second only to maybe Super Star )

most of the challenge on kirby on the magic mirror was the metroidvania map thing, I never beat the game because I keep getting lost, but I never had any trouble with any particular enemy or obstacle

This is the only game, I am interested in for 3Ds now. There isn't much good games now. I hope they remake Majora :(
Why would you say "there are no good games, I hope they remake an old game"? The 3DS has plenty of remakes and ports and you can play Majora's Mask on the N64, Wii, WiiU and any decent PC already. I'd rather have an actually new game.

yes it's very strange...there are the latest game like girls shoot X'D but no Kirby ?? since 1 month ?? :O no there is a problem...

Just got my Gateway today and planned on playing this as my little alt. region game to try. Probably should have looked this up before hand.

Here's hoping I can try it before it bricks/ignites/explodes my 3DS! :)

huh ? Gateway can boot to 7.0.1 emuNAND...
It can, but 7.0 has additional protection that Gateway has not circumvented yet. Basically games can be encrypted using a special key, and this key gets loaded at boot, written to a write-only thing and immediately removed from memory before custom code gets to run, much like the issue with 6.X save files. This is the reason why Youtube and Pokemon Bank don't work on emuNAND, and I doubt 2.0 final will fix this. It may get fixed in an eventual 2.1 but god knows how long that would take.
That said I don't know if this is actually the case for Kirby, but eventually games will appear that use this protection.
