I have seen this 64GB SD Micro Card pop up on Amazon.co.uk, check it out:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/PERFORMANCE-PROVIDES-UNIVERSAL-COMPATIBILIY-FEATURES/dp/B00FLB53LO/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1393080112&sr=8-13&keywords=64 gb micro sd

It only retails @£4.49p, now I know it sounds very cheap and maybe to good to be true but if you read below it has 5 stars from customers and also its SDHC compatible so would it work OK?, I was thinking ahead for the Multirom update :) and at that price surely you cannot go wrong.

Infact I will order one now and let you all know.

I doubt you would get much use out of it, it probably a much smaller card using sizing tricks to make the computer think it's larger, you woul be lucky if you get to store 4gb before it just stars overwriting the old data....that's just how most of the cheapo card work

From what I've seen and read, all the cards that come in packaging like that are "fakes", smaller cards made to look like bigger sizes. Better off avoiding any unbranded cards and sticking to known brands.

Not even known brands of safe, tons of fake sandisk and Kingston cards on ebay, it's best to stick to reputable retailers,

It's not worth it. These no-brand cards don't have to follow any standards. They can just put class 10 on their cards but there are no repercussions if it's not. Plus, it looks like you have to pay shipping which costs more than the product itself.

Yeah and those reviews seem like they are from people who don't know a whole lot about technology... that one guy is like "I have stored around 500 pics!" sure it sounds like a lot but if each pic is around 3 megs, that's still only 1.5 gigs of space he is using.

8gb 64gb....done?

i might make my 2gb sd 2tb...yep that's the logic

a decent brand 8gb card is only like £4-£5 so your paying double for a dodgy 8gb card.....if it even is 8gb in the first place, he might have "upgraded" his 1gb to 8gb, then decided 8gb isnt enough and "upgraded" it again to 64gb

Yeah I think your all correct I probably be wasting my good money, thanks will not bother :) Also don't like the sounds off 8GB upgraded to 64GB sounds very dodgy, how is that even possible?

Please anyone don't buy them, they are fake, it has been reported already on the same cards on Amazon.com but it does not look like Amazon.co.uk has caught on to them yet but it has been reported so please don't purchase!

if you check all his feedback he has several people confirming the card is crap and a few saying they only worked for like 2 days, he is probably re-listing them over and over as different products whenever he gets a negative comment on his current listing

regardless of the "deal", I would still like to know if a 64gb SDXC card works in a Gateway3DS for the upcoming multirom feature. I'm hoping that khalaan doesn't forget to update us :)

i can guarantee that card is certainly not a 64gb card. they are flogged all over ebay. utter rubbish. do a check on it if you order one and i think you'll find its full of false sectors and padded to look like a 64

What that means is you take an 8GB card and edit it in such a way that a PC thinks it's 64GB. Any data you write on it over that original 8GB limit will either be cut off or overwrite other data, not sure.

I know this is a bit off of the subject of fake microSD cards, but, on the subject of real 64gb microSD, I've used two different brands with Gateway. I used an AData 64gb (here) and got constant freezing along with the 3DS not recognizing the card 70% of the time. I returned that one and got a Sony 64gb (here) and no longer suffer from random freezes and the card is always recognized by the 3DS.
