Jaguar... claimed to be a 64 bit game system... nope.... 32 bit sound and 32bit video handled by 2 separate chips still = 32bit lol
much less that is the most useless controller lol.... freaking phone keypad >.<
This is a misconception I've tackled on a different occasion on the Temp - the Jaguar has a 64-bit Bitter, Object processor and DRAM manager, it can run 64-bit code, ergo it's a 64-bit console. The confusion comes from the fact that its numerous processors are located on three different chips.

Yes it can run 64bit code but its is done rather sneeky..... using the Blitter run the code doesnt make it a 64bit chip. its run off of tom and jerry. its still a 32bit chip to control the video and a 32 bit chip to run the sound. and yes there is a 3rd chip. ^_^ a motorola 68000 used as a brain to control the other 2 from what i remember.
