Playstation Now Beta Invites Have Started

Playstation Now, Sony's game streaming service, has officially begun it's Beta stage, with Invites being sent out to some of those who signed up for them. According to the emails, you're required to have only a 5mbps connection in order to participate.

For those who might have missed the page to sign up, see here: us.playstation.com/playstationnow/ (US only AFAIK)

Once you accept the invitation, you'll be given some sort of voucher and instructions will be given "in the coming days"

I'd have loved to test this, but alas, Europe. Kinda odd though that they have it up and running in the US, when a lot of other countries have relatively faster internet connections

Surprisingly my ISP is coming up pretty close to their advertised data rate this week. Unfortunately...

...there's no choice around here but over-the-air because there's no cable at all down our road. There's a 6Mb package available 'in some areas' but they didn't respond to any of my inquiries about upgrading to it or why my IP address changed to somewhere most sites believed was in the Netherlands last spring.

So yeah, as much as I'd like to test this on my PS3 or Vita, it looks like I won't be able to.
