this is not about usb sticks, pc, firmware.

maybe you could try to sue gateway for doing it, BUT i do NOT believe that the PRODUCT you PAID FOR is defective.
we have lawyers for a reason, things like this are not so simple, but, you paid for the bard, not the loader.
maybe laws (depending on where you live) were broken, but, the product was not defective.

he bought a service, to fill himself up and to experience the taste of bread, but not a product.

The RESELLER didn't sell you the launcher code and it wasn't bundled with the cart, plain and simple, the executed code is NOT the product you paid for. I returned a team xecuter modchip that I could not get to flash correctly. It does not have to be a shady business. Just seems like these gateway guys are shady.
