Ey, wait! Probably some Chinesse mafia guy made and user in 2009, posted 5.502 messages, just to badmouth our beloved Gateway Team in this critical moment!
I don´t trust him.

The 32GB SD card worked perfectly on my Wii. I used it for SD loading games and found no performance issues. I just used my 32GB SD card over my 4GB one in case I wanted to download some eShop games on my 3DS.
I really do wonder how Gateway will handle this now someone well known has been bricked.
I turned off my 3ds and disabled the hack waiting to see what happens and how GW manage the situation; i believe they did put the brick code on the launcher but i believe too that it's not their fault or responsibility if the r4i or 3ds link or orange 3ds customers brick their 3ds but the company who made their flashcards, in the same way as i think i'ts GW responsibility to fix their customers troubles.
I have been silent reading all the bricking cases that surfaced in the past weeks and all i can say is that the attitude everyone is taking is regrettable.
And now i will wait before taking a judgement if i do cause no one has the right to judge others, for the response of the GW team in the matter.
Sorry for all of who's 3ds are dead.
The thing is that they are not willing to listen to their own customers, as you can see here and on their official forum, where Gateway customers are also reporting bricks using Gateway alone.
I personally emailed them about the situation, without mentioning anything about a bricker code; I just handled it as if it was a legitimate mistake in their coding that is causing serious malfunctions. I respectfully gave them advice about this issue by recommending them to reupload the 1.2 launcher to their download section and to label the beta launcher as "unstable". The only response I got was that it is "impossible" that their launcher is causing bricks, that "it's not happening", that it's a "Nintendo related issue".

I know but up until now they could turn a blind eye and say it was all a campaign against them and so on, not entirely blaming them as everyone was pointing the/a finger at them instead of trying to find a solution, but now an official reviewer got the brick and ignoring him will completely be the end or at least is what i think.
I bet i will have to save a year to get one of those emp-ty cards.
Confirmed, Devin officially R4i mafia pirate.
Honestly, I'm surprised at this point they're being so ignorant about the situation, even going as far as telling people to use the update despite said update causing issues.
They act as a bunch of immature scriptkiddies who don't understand their market and customers at all.
They are destroying their own market. The number of 3DS with the right firmware is limited as is the market for 3ds flashcarts.
Ironically, thanks to Gateway, the MT-Card now has more features than Gateway since their second beta is essentially unusable, so for now it's the best 3DS flashcard; still I wouldn't recommend it unless you are not expecting further updates and you can be fine with the current features.
