Did you setup the emuNAND? The Gateway software does that.

You're just being overly paranoid. I'm 95.78% sure you used "Format Emunand" from the GW menu, that Formats your SD card and creates a new Launcher.dat with new properties (date, etc.).

Well i did not know that.
And im think im in the right to be overly paranoid with people getting their systems bricked.
But thanks for the replies Soul & ICE.


Anyway, since this is solved Mods Feel Free to close the thread.

maybe the code choses a random date for the file. and if the file is created in certain date then the brick code is triggered.

would be great to compare the creation date of the launchers of people that got their consoles bricked
