I'm thinking of getting Worms but none of the reviews I've seen so far actually give any decent info on how the touchscreen controls work. Does anybody have any feedback on this?

Additionally, what I'm *really* interested in is gamepad support. Does anybody know if this thing supports external gamepads? because that would surely make things a whole lot easier. I guess if not, there are plenty of ways to play the game under emulation - but it would certainly be nice to play it native.

Worms 2: Armageddon is on sale for a buck. Pick it up, try it for yourself, and if you don't like it, refund it within the 15 minute timeframe.

I tried it, don't know about the external gamepad support but the touch controls were pretty finicky and because of that i didn't really like it, but then again im not a big fan of touch controls on any game

On the Nexus 5 and alot of phone models, theres no sound for the game. NO SOUND. No music or SFX. Its in my opinion unplayable and the even at a $1, I regret getting it big time. With no sound, I didn't play it enough to tell you how good the controls are, or if theres controller support.

I regret a petty amount such as a dollar because I don't like the idea of my income funding things that are useless to me. There are too many games on Android that I've "bought" but never play because I can't get a sense of how terrible they are in the 15 minutes it takes do download and install a game, try it out for 5 minutes, and unistall before my refund period is up.

I gather it's a pretty big download? Not sure if I'll even be able to finish the download within that timeframe.

I might risk it when I get my jxd next month, or I might just stick to the PSX/N64/Dos/Amiga/Dreamcast version

The timer starts ticking after your installation is finished.

I read in one of the reviews that it downloads an expansion pack, and the timer doesn't account for the amount of time taken to download the expansion.

Well, if it doesn't say "downloading additional content" in the status bar, and it is instead downloading while you load up the app, then that might be it. I don't think something like worms would ever take me more than 5 minutes to download, though.

yea I'll probably just give it a try and if it takes more than 12 minutes I'll just do the return anyway
