aRight so I want to extract wads from my wii (the channels that I want to use are: Mario Party 2, Zelda: Majora's Mask and Pokémon Rumble) onto my USB. I have a PAL wii with System 4.3E.
So I use Wad Creator V1.0 by Waninkoko, but what do I get? An error:
>> Retrieving TMD...
ERROR! (ret = -1017)
Then I try to do it with
| Failed to allocate memory 33131423 (this number is different, I think depending on the channel used)
Error reading content
I do have the cIOS installed using this tutoial:
https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/backup-launchers/installation
I tried to use Wad Creator and before and downloading that cIOS, and the only think it did was change the error number.
Help!

Thanks

Try making a NAND backup then using ShowMiiWads' ShowMiiNand function, right click the title you want to pack into a WAD and choose the pack WAD option (the option might be worded a bit differently, can't tell you for sure off hand but you'll see it), this has worked for me on vWii system titles but should also work on WiiWare/VC on Wii/vWii.

I dumped the nand to the usb, and I installed ShowMiiNand. The thing is that I can't select the nand.bin file under "Change NAND Backup Path", do you know how to get passed this?

Oh and thank you very much.

There's an option to extract the NAND.bin under "Tools" --> "Extract Bootmii Dump". After that's done just pick the extracted dump.

I extracted the Nand file, then I switched it to ShowMiiNad, and I click on the channel and selected Pack Wad. Then another damn error comes up:
There are files missing!
Thanks for the help so far.

Have you ran Tools->Create Common Key? I am not sure if it's important to WAD packing but it's important to certain features so it's best to make sure you've done that.
Also, this related post suggests you have to tick "Show NAND" though I'm not sure where that option is: http://gbatemp.net/threads/noob-paradise-ask-away.131884/page-492#post-4070497

Nah, I can't find this "Show NAND" you're talking about, and I created a common key which did nothing.

However, I did use the channel included in thread that Cyan linked. And that did what I wanted, so thank you both.

Case Closed.
