You'll need to use ohneschwanzenegger to create a new nand.bin to install with BootMii and then extract the gamesaves & tickets from your old nand.bin and copy them over to your new nand filesystem using WiiXplorer (with NAND editing).

Any VC, WiiWare and Channels you'll have to either reinstall or download though.

Giantpune's Wii NAND Tools (WiiBrew): http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?17,66182,66183
WiiXplorer: http://wiixplorer.googlecode.com/files/R259.zip

Thing is i was trying to do that and i ended up deleteing my origirnal nand so now im nand less is there a way to fix it??

In ohneschwanzenegger do the following:
  • Select Nand Dump -> New nand...
  • Click on Existing Nand...
  • Select nand.bin created by BootMii (which needs to be on your computer's HDD)
  • Click OK to close the window
  • wait for the program to finish
  • afterwards, in the top left box, type 4.3U and press enter
  • program will start downloading files from the Nintendo servers and inject the files into testnand.bin
  • in the window that appears change the Code and SerNo to match the one on your Wii console
  • Click OK to close the window
  • close the program from the top right
Copy keys.bin to the same directory as testnand.bin and rename testnand.bin to nand.bin.
Download this and extract Bootmii-KEYFIX.rar (using WinRAR) to the same directory as your new nand.bin and keys.bin.
Open Bootmii-KEYFIX.exe to patch nand.bin with your console keys from keys.bin
copy nand.bin and Keys-Fixed.bin to your SD Card
rename Keys-Fixed.bin to keys.bin
eject Sd Card
Turn on your console with your SD card inserted (you'll need the files required to access BootMii, which you can download from ModMii).

using either the actual console or a GameCube controller do the following:
  • select fourth icon
  • select second icon
  • press A or reset to start simulation mode
  • wait for simulation mode to finish
  • press start or Eject to restore/flash your NAND
  • wait for it to finish
  • once finished press any button to continue
Go back to the menu by selecting the fourth icon and then go to the Wii Menu to start the initial setup.
if successful, you should be able to now use your favourite exploit to modify your console once again.
once you've done this, please let me know and i'll tell you how to restore your gamesaves and tickets with WiiXplorer.

In ModMii, did you do the following?:
  • Went to Download Page 2
  • Typed BSD and pressed enter
  • Typed d and pressed enter
  • Typed y and pressed enter
  • Waited for the files to download
  • Once completed typed e and pressed enter to exit ModMii
then did you copy the bootmii folder from COPY_TO_SD to your SD Card?

Two flashes? That means BootMii is not recognizing the SD card or BootMii files. One flash? BootMii not installed.
If the SD card is not recognized then try a different SD card. BootMii is a bit picky with them. (remember to copy the BootMii files over to the other card)

Using ohneschwanzenegger (and using the mini-tutorial above) you should create a new NAND, but this time with 4.1U installed. Then once you've flashed your NAND with BootMii and gone through the initial setup, do an official update from the Nintendo servers via the Wii settings. download and install the latest version of the Shopping Channel & IOS56.

Edit: you could easily update the Shopping Channel and install IOS56 onto your clean NAND using ohneschwanzenegger by using the similar method: just put this TitleID (0001000248414241) in the top left box and then type 21 in the box next to it. Then this TitleID (0000000100000038) and then type 5662.

Why would you update to 4.3? That's stupid.

i don't know what the best thing is about using system menu 4.1, but apparently it's good for some reason (maybe, because it's less high risk compared to any system menu above 4.1)... as to why most people recommend it! .

Although... you don't have to update, if you don't want to. As you can just update the official channels (Wii Shop particularly) to the latest versions.

well... it isn't like Nintendo are going to update the Wii anytime soon. As they're more focused on the WiiU nowadays.

Although, i do agree... just avoid doing what I struck through, iRawriLaugh.

Edit: you'll be interested to know, that you can easily update the Shopping Channel and install IOS56 using ohneschwanzenegger.
